Through 6-12 August 2015 a summer camp “Ecovison” was organized on the territory of Tusheti Protected Area. The camp was organized by EcoVison, Georgian environmental NGO with the support of “Citizen” Georgian Civil Society Organization. The summer camp hosted about thirty the 12th grade school students the winners of the TV Show quiz-game Ecovision that is being developed and broadcasted within the SPARE Program.
EcoVision specially developed educational and cognitive set of programs for summer camp students. The program was consisted of educational training programs on rational use of natural and energy resources, energy saving and locally available renewable energy resources, endemic biodiversity and protected areas, introducing waste management modern technologies . Lectures on the thematic issues were provided by experts and professors of the relevant fields. School students enjoyed of filed expeditions and sport games.
Tusheti Summer Camp was covered by TV Program EcoVision developed by SPARE Program in Georgia and broadcasted through GDC TV studio.
